During our Bible Lesson last week, we discussed the time when God chose David to become king of Israel, but the story doesn't end there. When Saul, the King at the time, finds out about a young boy being chosen to take his throne, he becomes very upset. Even though Saul tried to do him harm, David choses to show mercy because he trusted God. Just like David, we should choose to treat others well even when they don't show kindness to us because God wants us to be the best version of ourselves and share His love with the world.
